Vietnam's most wanted
This was a bicycle-cab driver in hue city. I offered to bike him around instead of me. He obliged and got a little comfortable, making phone calls and having me take him to a place where we could buy beer. i didnt even charge him.
This rice field went on for about 4 or 5 miles
The man at the noodle shops took out a picture of himself and had us autograph the back of it.
At pha nha khe bang national park they had dragon boat tours into a water cave. at $20/person we tried to see it for ourselves on dry land.
the guys on the left are the dragon boat operators. the guys on the right were the fisherman that we tried to convince to take us into the cave for about a third of the cost. Waving the money, pointing at them, motioning for rowing, point towards the cave. They came about half way to get us before the 'real' boat operatoras came over and yelled at them; they backed away.
construction over a 40 foot drop.
we went into one of the largest dry caves in the world. This one was one kilometer long and about 150 feet tall at its peak. this was my favorite stalagmight.
home
people put their crop products out to dry on the side of the road every x amount of days. huge trucks come by and pick up the dried product.
at one stop a boy climbed up this tree to get fruit for himself and us. it tasted terrible, but i still had to eat it.
